3 Lessons Learned in School that Can Be Applied to Life
If we don’t take responsibility and prioritize the things you want to accomplish we won’t be living to our full potential.
You’ll Learn
- How to be more self-aware and see ourselves objectively; the way other people see us
- Why critical and creative thinking helps us solve problems
- Why it’s our responsibility to be more responsible in life
Self-Awareness
Being self-aware means you have an accurate view of you are perceived by others. A personality test like the Myers Briggs is a good way to understand your personal strengths and weaknesses. When you are self-aware, you can see where your thoughts and emotions are guiding you. It also allows you to evaluate your actions so you can make the necessary changes to get the outcomes you want.
Critical Thinking
Critical thinking allows us to use creativity to solve our problems, it’s the ability to make good decisions based on the information given to us.
Identify the problem: a problem well defined is a problem half solved.
Use the scientific method
Find what works and what doesn’t.
Responsibility
To be responsible is to be dependable. When you say you’re going to do something can others trust that you will follow through on your commitments?
My high school football coach made you feel like a punk for being woken up by anything other than your alarm clock. It’s up to you to follow through on the things you set to accomplish.
