How to Plan a Marriage Proposal

How to Plan a Proposal From Beginning to End

Proposing is something many people only do once in their lifetime. For many of us, there’s no guide that teaches us how to plan one of the most important days of your lives. In this episode, we’re going to cover how to plan the perfect proposal.

You’ll Learn

•How to prepare in advance to propose (it’s more than just buying a ring)

•What to do if things don’t go as planned

•How to prepare to make the event perfect

Do Your Homework

Planning a proposal isn’t like planning a regular date. You’ve got to come up with a plan to pay for the ring, pick the location, make dinner reservations, coordinate the moment with a photographer – without letting your future fiancé know about your plans.

Start with doing your research on popular proposal locations in the city you plan on proposing. Be sure to coordinate with a photographer to know the best angle to capture your fiance’s reaction.

Have a Backup Plan

What happens if you plan the perfect location at the perfect time and it rains when it’s time to pop the question? What do you do?

That’s why it’s important to have a backup plan in place in case weather or an unplanned local event occurs.

Have at least 2 proposal locations in mind and coordinate with the photographer in case the first location doesn’t work out.

Poke Holes in The Plan

To make sure everything goes as planned we need to consider everything that can go wrong.

If your fiancé to be is expecting to eat dinner they may be less than happy that they think you’re trying to go sightseeing at sunset. Think of everything that could go wrong and plan for it.
